Join us at the University YMCA to hear presentations by members of the Champaign and Homer communities, Stand Up to Coal, and the Prairie Rivers Network regarding Sunrise Coal’s (Hallador Energy) proposed Bulldog Mine and its potential impacts.Â
This will be a great opportunity to discuss the Bulldog Mine issues and to learn about mine-related and water-related issues being discussed at the Champaign County Board committee level.
If you’re familiar with the issues, come and support the cause. Â If you’re new to the cause, come out and join us to learn how the proposed mine could affect you and how you can help stop it.
